Devils Deceit II (Latest Limited Release)
When Eve’s teeth pierced the irresistible apple and its sweetness burst upon her tongue, it was as though the heavens themselves seemed to pause. The air once rich, sacred, and untouched—grew burdened with a knowledge never conveyed before. And it was within that suspended breath of creation, that something fragile collapsed while something ancient awakened.
Adam and Eve stood in the Garden of Eternity, yet for the first time, they felt small… exposed…breakable.
One bite was taken.
And the world was change forever.
A tremor of guilt stirred from within, as Adam and Eve were both captured by the elusive hum of civet tincture and the trembling warmth of deer musk. These aromatic notes seized their delicate skin, leaving behind the raw heartache and anguish of knowing they had fallen victim to the serpent. The lingering scent was a reminder that they had trusted the enemy, and an everlasting trail of whispers shattered the purity of devotion.
Animalic notes here do not thread—they whimper. They breathe with the weight of a heart learning regret for the first time. They wrap around the wearer as Eve wrapped trembling leaves around her once-innocent form… as Adam lowered his gaze, no longer able to stand before his God with unburdened soul.
Throughout the grave darkness of these times, their love for God still flickered, and although it was fragile and trembling, it was very much alive with the Devotion that blooms from Rose De Mai Absolute and Indian jasmine. A Beautiful rose, flushed with shame connects with Eve’s aching and remorseful heart, which is still capable of love beyond repair. And jasmine, rises like a prayer, while reaching out for forgiveness from the One who shaped them from the clay, and with brave refusal to collapse from its own purity, it was never abandoned by God.
Blended together, these notes for a vintage style chypre, embodying one of perfumers old juxtapostiions- mosses, florals and animals intertwined. Together they weave a tale as ancient as humanity itself, where light stands in contrast to darkness, beauty confronts what lies hidden beyond the shadows, and the temptation of desire battles consequences. In this moment on Eden, the first great contrast is born, a divide that has echoed through time immemorial.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Some customers have asked about the price increase compared to the first edition, and I want to provide a clear and transparent explanation.
A large portion of my clients and extended fragrance family are located across different states and throughout Europe. Shipping to these regions requires me to pay a 10% tariff, a cost I had previously absorbed myself as a gesture of goodwill. However, over time this has significantly impacted both my earnings and overall profitability.
In addition to the tariff, I also cover a 10% GST here in Australia — and this is separate from income tax and other operating expenses. In reality, nearly 20% is lost purely in taxes and duties before accounting for production costs. Then I have to pay income tax on top of this 20% which doesn't include the cost of material, bottle and packaging.
While I always strive to keep my fragrances reasonably priced, expenses like these must be considered to ensure the sustainability of the brand. The updated pricing for this release reflects those unavoidable costs; however, it is now fully inclusive of GST and tariff charges, meaning you will not have to pay anything additional out of pocket and if you do in customs, just hit me up and I will reimburse you that cost.
I hope this provides clarity, and as always, I deeply appreciate your understanding and continued support. I love all of you <3
